Our Approach

About Foundation

Since the first days of establishment Yeraz Foundation has implemented “Providing test strips to children with diabetes” program. At the initiative of the Foundation back in 2012 the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Armenia created a task force which was to develop medical assistance and service program for children with diabetes in Armenia. The program was approved by the decision 1628-А of the RA Ministry of Healthcare. It provided a possibility to all children with diabetes in Armenia to receive high-quality insulin, insulin analogs and a box of glucometer test strips.

The Foundation has also fulfilled a number of educational and informational activities aimed at increasing the level of awareness among children and parents and providing proper information about the disease. During these years, the Foundation had about 500 beneficiaries and successfully implemented many projects and events.

With an impressive baggage of successfully implemented projects and initiatives, today the Foundation has taken a new path by focusing on social programs. The Foundation has adopted the policy of bringing positive changes through social programs and implementing projects contributing to the development of communities.

Today the activities of Yeraz Foundation are aimed at identifying existing problems and implementing targeted programs that will trigger balanced development of the community, improve the quality of life of people, especially children, as well as will be aimed at ensuring people’s welfare and addressing social issues.
