Who We Are

Yeraz Charitable Foundation was established on April 2, 2010.
Committed to the needs of children with childhood diabetes as well as to a number of programs and measures aimed at solving their problems, Yeraz Foundation has been investing its efforts and resources to improve the quality of life of children suffering from diabetes in Armenia and Artsakh for years. The Foundation effectively cooperated with Republican Pediatric Endocrinology Dispensary of Muratsan Hospital Complex under Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi.

What We Do

01.

— PROVIDING NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENTS (VITAMIN)

A regular program is carried out to provide special nutritional supplements (vitamins) for children with diabetes mellitus registered in the Republican Pediatric Endocrine dispensary.

— PROVIDING SPECIAL SWEETENERS

For several months Children with s diabetes registered in Muratsan Republic Pediatric Dispensary had an opportunity to taste free Sweet and Light special recipes (containing honey stevia) , without preservatives, starch, sugar and fructose.

— ARRANGING SUMMER CAMPS

“Yeraz” Charity Foundation’s Summer Camp is intended for children with diabetes from different regions of Armenia and Artsakh. The program aims to improve the quality of life of children with diabetes, to make them a full members of the society, more independent, informed, free of complexes.

— PROVIDING GLUCOMETERS (A DEVICE USED TO MEASURE BLOOD SUGAR)

“Yeraz” Foundation from the very first day of its establishment has brought into life the program of providing children with diabetes by glucometers,(program “providing glucometers to children with diabetes in Armenia”). All the children with diabetes registered in the Republic pediatric dispensary receive glucometers which enable them to monitor BG at home and avoid further complications.

— PROVIDING MEDICATIONS AND LABORATORY TESTS FOR CHILDREN WITH OTHER ENDOCRINE DISORDERS

Within the framework of the project, they also provide children registered in the Muratsan Republic Pediatric Endocrine Dispensary with growth hormones and pay for their laboratory expenses or other necessary tests.

06.

— INSULIN SYRINGES, NEEDLES OF THE PEN-SYRINGES

Periodically, programs are implemented to provide needles for insulin syringes and pen-syringes(pen-injection syringes)to children with diabetes mellitus registered in the Republic pediatric endocrine Dispensary.
